Default Chrome Mirror Caps
Does anyone know if these chrome mirror covers are actually made to snap in place of the old black plastic cap or just 3M tape over? I really dont like the idea of just "sticking" this on my mirror. I would rather unsnap the old cap and put the chrome one in place. So are the stick on covers the only things they manufacture is what Im getting at? I got a quote from my local dealer for these stick-ons and they were 99.99.

I know this is way old but, I paid 108.00 for my Chrome Caps! Just pop off the old, and snap in the new EZ peezy...

Mine are stick on. They seem pretty solid and have been on through winter, summer and countless car washes.
