Glad all you chrome guys talked yourselves off the ledge. I was worried there for a little while. Now you guys don't need to pay for that therapy session. Whew! :P

"Introducing the new Silverado HD, with a face so bold only a mother (or GM marketing executive) could love."

Seriously though, it looks like someone punched a 1500 in the face. Botched as per usual.

The 1993 Lightning was the first truck I recall with monochromatic paint, and the first year all colors came with black door handles and a black twin tube rear bumper.

And well that "NITE" F-150, haven't seen too many of those though.

92-96 Broncos could be had monochromatic also, think it was also a sport package, maybe

Surprised no one has brought up the platinum tailgates on here. Those are way to over the top in the plastic-chrome-shiny department for me.

The same about too much chrome can be said about too much black.....

Especially too much plasti-dip.

Platinum tailgates look nice on a silver or white truck, but I agree it's too much on a dark color like Black, Blue, Brown or Red.
