I like chrome but usually just what's stock. The chrome pillar covers, rocker panels, full door handles, wiper blade covers, etc, etc are just way too much. My pickup is silver, chrome bumpers, door handle pulls and grille, first gen Raptor rims are gunmetal gray and machined and all the rest if black. A good blend of everything IMO looks best on pickups. Nothing too gaudy, just balanced.

I like chrome in moderation. I don't know why pickup trucks think they have to have a huge *** grille and entirely chromed out front end. For example, I love grilles on our trucks with a PTM'ed surround and a chrome center. A perfect balance IMO.
The biggest issue I have with the "chrome" on our trucks is that it is the faux plastic chrome.

IMO, any chrome on a truck needs to be in moderation. A nice set of real chrome wheels and a grill is enough. More than that and it starts to look tacky and dated.
EDIT: I also don't like the fake carbon fiber and wood grain in trucks. I'd much rather have vinyl/plastic that looks like vinyl/plastic, instead of vinyl/plastic that's painted to look like wood grain....
