Love my chrome!

With my truck, I think a mix of black and chrome looks good. So, I try to keep it balanced.
Chrome certainly holds up better than paint, especially on the bumpers and grill. Seen many a painted bumpers with road rash.

Just remember, black won't get you back, it's chrome that gets you home!

my truck came with the Chrome package. i dont mind the mirrors / bumpers, but i hate the chrome wheels... and the fake chrome is pitting.
so it's either $80 in PD, or $800 for a new set of wheels... mhm... right now i'm too broke for either, so i live with it!

I love the FX/STX look. But i also love the chrome grilles with the surround painted, and chrome bumpers. I hate PD. Only thing i see its good for is, trying out a look. Because you can then peel it off. That's what i did. Tested it out on my interior door handles, liked it, peel the pd off. Then painted them right, with real paint.

I love the people who love to point out how much they paid for their truck, and how quality oriented they are. Then they will pd their whole truck.

i like chrome. as long as you don't go out and get every accesory and chrome stick on thing you can find and put it on. to much looks silly.

My XLT has the chrome package. I bought a silver truck because the chrome "blends" better with it. I am a monochrome type of guy. I don't like too much going on in the way of color. Two colors max for me. I would like to eventually get rid of the chrome, but with real paint. Not looking to plastidip anything. Ideally, I would love to find an STX or FX owner who likes chrome and just swap bumpers and ****. Haven't put the feeler out there because I doubt there will be many takers.

This is where plasti dip comes into play.. You get the best of both worlds cause it peals right off.
