Default Christmas Mod help needed

Picked up one of those Raptor inspired grills with the amber lights. I am not a fan of the quick splice connector they provided with the kit. What is the best, most secure, way to wire in these lights to be on with the parking lamps?

Also have the dark tinted strips that go in the mirrors. These also need to be wired. How do you take the mirror apart to connect them?

I use Posi-Tap connectors which you can get online but are hard to find in auto stores.

Duetch connectors for the amber grill lights as i assume they are only two wires. Tap them to the marker lights in the headlamps. Taking the mirror apart to wire is pretty simple. I popped the glass out which is just snapped in. Be careful doing that cuz i ended up braking the passenger side $60. Was told by the dealer the driver side with the blind spot corner mirror is like 2-300. Then i popped out the original reflector and drilled a small hole through the indentation to run the wire. Ended up just tapping the wiring for the light on the glass side.

Do you mean the connectors that go into the leds?

If if so I would keep them, what if one is faulty? Makes it easy to replace.

As for tapping ping into the lights, there’s a couple threads floating around here of installs.

search Paramount or raptor style grill in this section (09-14) and they should pop up

1. Make absolutely sure on those LED's that red is positive and black is negative. I wired mine completely up before realizing that the set I was given were wired backwards. Don't make that mistake. I ended up rewiring mine so that they are done correctly for future use.

2. I already had a fuse tapped for the parking lights in the passenger foot well. I can't remember which fuse# it is, but the truck manual will tell you. I ran the wires under the hood "foam", down to the hinge, and into the cab through the large rubber grommet right there on the passenger side. From there it was a quick and easy run of the wire to that fuse tap.

Amazon Amazon
Found the female end and having trouble locating the male version. Plan was to make a T or Y harness so I dont have to cut factory wires. Any ideas?

I did search some older threads and located on in the 15-18 section, they used a fuel injector harness but its different than our style.
