Default Interest in EB yes...but moved forward on 2010

I road tested a 150 with the Eco boost in December and all I can say is that it has way more ***** than the 5.4 in my 06 Lariat and pulls much stronger. I was all set to order a new 150 with the new 6.2, but since it's not my daily driver, decided to wait and see how these two motors pan out in the real word. EB torture test vids look pretty real world, but we'll have to see.

I did agonize a bit over waiting to see how the EB plays out, but I chose to take advantage of a good deal on a 2010 so I could get into a new truck and come out of this mess without much out of pocket. Pics to come soon, but did upgrade to 4x4 this time with a new Candy Red Metallic Screw...

Hey,
Sounds nice..love that color. I definately hear you on the out of pocket... The new iron doesn't come cheap. Am member of MCA (Mustang Club of America), which provides X-plan to members and got a $500 voucher for the EB roadtest, so we'll have to see what happens within the next few months. I think if the price of gas keeps rising, truck sales could cool off a bit, which might cause some extra sales incentives.
Good luck on the new ride and can't wait to see some pix.

These aren't the stock tires. Did you trade up at the dealer? What size are they? And did you level it as well. The truck looks great. I'm glad it all worked out for the best.

Enjoy the new ride.

Default the tires...

Yes, the tires are aftermarket. I added 2" ReadyLIFT leveling kit and tires are Nitto Terra Grappler A/T LT295/70R17. The tire/wheel thread pinned at the beginning of this forum was a big help actually.

Sold the factory tires on Craigslist.

Diminished value. Appraisal clause. Study up on this. If your truck is repaired, you have lost significant value when you sell.
