Mine does it shifting from 1st to second but it is more like a bark (thanks Livernois... haha)

Hope ya get it figured out, nothing worse than those annoying noises when you drive...

Yeah absolutely frustrating. And as for the mods they will come in time. My track record isn't that good with leaving trucks stock. Lol.

Well just got home from the dealership and happy to say that the chirping has indeed ended!

Took my tech for a ride and right out of the parking lot it's chirping like crazy. Now he is actually hanging out the window while we are driving through a little strip mall. And clearly says its definitely coming from the *** end. Go back It the shop and start checking everything. Right off the bat he goes I bet I know what it is. Had this already once but not this loud. Walks up the the tailgate and shakes it and sure enough there it was. THE FLIPPING TAILGATE!!! So needless to say he laughs then sprays it up with some lube at the latches and I'm good to go. After a 16 hour shift at the mill then going straight there this morning I need a beer!

Yup you got me. The funny part was it really had nothing to do with how hard it was shut. Just was being a pain in the *** overall. Lol good call tho!
