Default Check Engine P0442

I'm getting a fault code P0442 check engine light, which is Evaporated Emissions System Leak Detected (small leak) I've had it checked twice and it's the same code. I've replaced the fuel door, which is what most mechanics say it is. But it still happens. I've noticed it comes on as I'm exiting the freeway and slowing. Once it came on along with the traction control system light. Each time I reset the battery and wait for the next light.
Any suggestions before I give it to Ford?

Check the fill tube hose between the fill pipe and tank for cracks/loose clamps.

I'd go with what Rnlcomp says first....but maybe the purge valve up by the throttle body? There is a good video on YouTube on how to check that. Could also be the vent valve solenoid but not likely.
I'm dealing with a P0446 code myself (same category as yours...EVAP system) and I need a new ECM so hopefully yours isn't as severe as mine. I can still drive my truck and fill the gas tank but I hate the light on the dash! Someone tried fixing a previous issue before I had the truck and now I need a new ECM...didn't know what they were doing....
Good luck!
