In channel vent visors
I'm getting my 2013 in the next week or so. I have a 2010 now with the in channel vent visors. I know they have had a lot of problems with in channel vent visrs on the 2011-12 models. Are there any in channel visors now that will work well with the 2013's?

I had in channels on mine and swapped em for the stick on just for the annoying sound of dirt getting caught in them when i put the window up. I recommend staying with the stick ons, they can be removed safely and the residue from the glue is easily cleaned off with solvent or eraser wheel.

The dealer that tinted my windows, '12, installed the stick-ons. He said that he wouldn't even sell me the in channel for an 11 or 12 because the seals were to tight.

I've had the WeatherTech in-channel installed on my 2011 FX4 since new - the seals aren't too tight and auto-up was only an issue for the 1st few days.

The sound of the grit scraping the glass just made me wonder when the permanent scratches on the glass would show up. I swapped them out for the AVS Seamless Vent Visors and love them. It's even more cool when I get compliments on how good the seamless version looks.

I also had the weathertech ones on my truck for about a month, a few scratches later in the glass I ripped them off and have regular AVS now front only though, don't like the look of the super cab rear ones lol

I just put the in channel AVS vent visors on my new 2013 F-150 and cannot get the automatic windows to go up. The pressure of the in channel visor makes the window automatically come back own. Is there a way to change the sensitivity of the window or do I need to get rid of the in channel visors. Or will it eventually start working as they wear in?
