BTW I have owned 1985 to present and currently own a Nissan (12 Altima) none have put me through the pain of the last 4 Fords for what it's worth.
Sounds like maybe those 4 Fords weren't taken care of properly or were abused. Fords are not perfect, but when considering everything as a package including build quality, Ford has the best trucks on the market IMHO.

I agree. Good luck with Government Motors' attempt to be top of the line, fail.

My local walmart sells MotorCraft oil filters for 4-5$ a piece. For oil id go MotorCraft, penzoil, Mobil 1 or Amsoil

Been using only Mobil 1 for the last 10 or 12 years. There is no doubt that there are other great motor oils out there, but I depend on this one. I change every 5000 mile because it is easy to remember. ( 4 vehicles )

If I can't get a Motorcraft filter I only buy Wix. It's a quality filter made with quality parts. If I can't get either of those, I wait to do the change.
