Just curious: Has anyone looked into customizing the "Built Ford Tough" text that scans across the Sync display during startup?

It seems like this would have to be a simple text file stored somewhere on the PCM or Sync computer that is programmed to display when the engine is cranked. Has anyone found where this data is and tried to edit it?

Or for that matter, has anyone tried to change the boot animation that shows up on the main gauge display?

Seem to remember reading somewhere that you could put a picture there by uploading from cd/dvd.

I have looked into this in the past as I have an aftermarket Indash radio/DVD and the small upper display is useless.

Any company's I've talked to have not released anything to change the text or modify it as the demand is not high enough.

But good luck in your searches and if you do, please post what you find as I'd be very interested.
