Changed all my Lights to LED's
#22
I like how the LED bulb replacements look. Only thing I was worried about is I go snow boarding and have had to drive through snow storms where the entire back of my truck was coated with snow except the tail lights and that was because they emitted enough heat to keep them from being covered. So I'm wondering if I had LED's could I face the problem of the entire tail light getting covered making it so people from behind couldn't see me? I'll try to put up a pic of my truck after going through a storm.

This is the back of my black truck after driving through the storm. As you can see the only reason my tail lights are visible is because the snow was melted around them.

V-8 Sounds Great
They look awesome if you're living in Texas. I had mine installed in Wisconsin, and after the first snow storm, I uninstalled them. The entire back of was covered in snow, and the lack of heat from the LED made it so no one could see my brake lights. Very unsafe for snowstorms.

(BTW wasn't trying to steal the thread was just a concern)

As for the lights getting covered in snow I'm not too worried about, platinum Sean posted that he had no problems with his and he lives in canada. Most the time we don't go anywhere when a big storm comes, but thanks for the concern guys.
