Default Cervinis Ram Air Hood Review

On any color other than black, I would say lose it. On yours, I'm torn. It doesn't take away from your truck.
Was it you who said it's a bitch to wax with it on?
If that's the case, then I'd probably peel it off.

A few complaints.

Touchless car washes. Forget about them, they can rip the decal. Already had one torn.

Waxing you have to tape them off or you end up with a wax outline in the edges.

The decal doesn't like detailing products and you need to be very careful what you use on it. I find myself looking at the decal and going "what the hell is that on my decal"? Trying to buff random stuff out in order to get an even look etc.

Personally, I really was drawn to it but all this fuss is a little much for a hockey stick decal. I'm Canadian after all but this is a bit much given the high maintenance.

If that's truly the case then ya, I would remove it.
I've always liked the hood decal, which you blew that away,
but if it grabbed dirt or wax and I could see it while driving, just lock me up, because I'm gonna go lose it.

so I talked with Cervinis. the underhood duct is not available until early next year but if you request it specifically they will sell it to you. i'm making arrangements with a bodyshop to get the work done. Christmas is coming early this year.

i was thinking the same thing. what to do with the old perfectly good hood. currently i'm thinking it will make a good decoration hanging on the wall in my garage.

my new hood arrives next week. painted and installed hopefully before the end of the month.

Wadz, how's the performance? any problems in the rain?

Keep it on CL and be patient. There are people who do rebuilds or are just replacing parts because of a deer accident that may buy it.

Sold a few parts that way.

Got my truck back from the shop last night and omg I love it. I just need/want to pick that piece up to direct the air to the air filter and not on top of the motor lol

Thank you I absolutely love it but I need to contact cervini or try and fab something up so the actual duct pushes the air to the air filter instead if just on top of the engine. I can tell they clean it cause my engine cover has water wpots all over it and the only way that could've happened is due to the duct being open. Hopefully the silver piece in this picture isn't gonna be too expensive. I might do mine reverse if this pic and paint mine red. I doubt I'll take it to a shop either since nobody will see it unless I pop the hood
