Default Center console lid lock

I wasn't aware this even had a lock in it till I seen the hole in the new lid. I don't want to use the lock off this one if I can find another lock. If someone knows where I can find one I'd appreciate it. Thanks

I checked out Tasca and a couple other ford places, I see a center console lock, but it don't look like it goes on the lid. I don't think it would be $45.00 either. Thanks for the input though.

I checked there first, I buy a lot of stuff from them. Anyway, still looking, where's GDMjoe when you need him.

My 2013 FX4 had/has a console lock from the factory.

It's an option. Comes in quite handy.

Default Center console lid lock

Checked the 2013 parts list and the part number for the lock cylinder is 8L3Z-1506082-A, Tasca wants $44.29 for it. Ouch.
Have you looked into getting the current one re-keyed? It's a flimsy plastic piece, and comes out really easily. I know I was told all F150 keys will lock and unlock them when I did my console swap, but I can only lock mine, not unlock it.

Default Center console lid lock

Mind if I ask a question, just to satisfy my own curiosity. How come you're looking to swap it out?
The smallest flat bar can break these consoles open.
I do like having a lock tho, simply because it conforms with MA, and it's unattended gun law.
