Default Amp Install without cutting or drilling PICS

I wanted to install my amps without harming the truck too much so here is what I came up with.

I used Simpson Strong Ties from Home Depot and mounted them to particle board painted them with Hammerite Paint.

Everything mounted up to the existing seat bolts. Its tight with the seats up but everything operates as it should.

Nice, I actually considered mounting mine that way when I installed it a couple weeks ago. I was worried about potential vibration issues against the cab or seat and chose to just put a couple screws into the rear rail on mu truck. I placed a couple spacers on the screws and have two 3/8 holes through the carpet myself. Either way should let us remove the amp if desired without much of a trace.

This Post should help. I did find that putting pressure on the seat back while releasing the latch helps.

Setups look great. and for future reference for you guys having trouble put your seats down its a little silver latch u cant miss it. If you cant get it with your fingers use a closed end of a wrench and it works fine. I attached zip ties to mine while I had them done and then cut the excess where only about an inch sticks up above the seat but the headrests hide them fine, takes 1 second to do it now lol

I tried the whole zip tie thing but when i would attempt to put the seat back up it wouldn't latch. I would end up having to retie it and pull like a **** just to get it back in place. a real pain in the *** imo.
