Default What is this?

Had to take my console apart the other day near the gear shift selector ..... Any ideas?
2009 Ford F150..... noticed I was missing this little dinky thing what is it

That is a cover to the shifter release in case you are out of power and need move your vehicle. You pop that cover off and push on the small lever/button under it.

Any idea where a guy could find one to replace the one I lost or is that even possible?

Mine is missing on my car. Its just a grocery getter so I don't really care but I would look at the local scrap yard for a replacement for your truck.

When my wife lost hers on her CRV I was able to get one from Amazon for like $2.

I'm kind of surprised a search for one for the F150 came up blank on both Amazon and eBay. I'd still call a dealer and see if you can get one, it might not be that much. Otherwise, yeah a junk yard should have one for pretty cheap.
