Default Canadian ver US, better perfomance? Anything to know?

Hello, new to this forum. I'm a GMC guy but finally bought my first Ford, a 2013 Ecoboost FX4 with 15k miles. LOVE the truck!

It's a Canadian model. Do they have better or worse performance? Is there anything perculiar to the "Great White North" models or things I should know?
Sorry if this has already been discussed. I did a search but found nothing...(and the manual is in French so its not much help...lol)
I can did notice it has a plug in block heater...

Thanks in advance!

They don't California emissions compliance if that's a benefit. And it is a hassle to track parts by VIN.

The AC smells like maple syrup on full blast, check your manual for your $100 Tim Hortons card and you can go faster if you read Km/h

It should be equipped from the factory with an engine block heater. Only trucks built for select northern states get this in the US.

Canadian models come with an extra turbo. Triple Turbo FTW! And the AC doesn't smell like maple syrup; it's so cold here we don't need AC. We use maple syrup in place of oil in the engine.
