I like this truck, getting easily 12.5l/100km and it is a SC, 157WB with 3.73. This is better than my previous Nissan Frontier Nismo and it pulls my trailer a lot easier!

...but, it is not the black FX4 I wanted last year ;-)
I just about ordered a loaded xtr but had the same thoughts. Is this what I really wanted. So after thinking about it I decided to buy the truck I have always been wanting. Instead of regretting it in 6-12 months.

Yeah, I should have been on this forum 6 months ago ;-)

Can't go wrong with buying what you want!

Hey IronJoce,

I've had my ecoboost 2012 FX4 for a week now... this is how my numbers played out here in Alberta.

2012 FX4, crew,
All options except max trailer tow and nav.

MSRP: $55,309
plus $1139 for Ford tonneau cover
Dealer price: $43,249
That price includes the $7,500 delivery allowance, a $750 private offer, $1,000 accessories credit... so that left approx. $5,500 dealer mark-up from dealer cost.

Hope that helps

Thanks, I'm not sure I understand... how much you ended up paying exactly?

What is the "private offer". What I understand we get 7500$ incentive and 1000$ accessories or another 750$ rebate. The rest is dealer dependant.

Thanks

$43,249 plus tax
The private offer was a marketing brochure from Ford, totally random on who gets them. $7500 delivery allow, $1000 accessories or $750 cash if you don't want accessories and yes the rest is dealer dependant. In my case, I figure around $5500 bucks from the dealer.

That's pretty good... I guess I could do better. MSRP is 50460 for a plain Supercab with maxtow, rear camera, 20 inches wheels and power rear sliding window.

I can get it for 39460$

So... 50460 - 7500 - 750 = 42 210

42 210 - 39460 = 2750$ from the dealer

Not as good as 5500$...

Well... maybe I could do some more phone calls!!!

I had a discount of $ 11 569 of MSRP two weeks ago in "La Belle Province". It's pretty easy to get $ 10,000 off MSRP here these days. You have to work a bit to get a little more...

I got exactly 11 000$ off from MSRP in Quebec (or la Belle Province as you call it!)... just hoping to get 13 000$ off from MSRP now ;-)

Too bad I didn't get the private offer... I even called Ford Canada about this, they told me it was a random marketing offer and apparently didn't get lucky!
