I really like the way your truck was heading until you installed the flares. You now need wheels with a wider offset! Something in a -12 would sit flush with your flares and look really good.

I have a sterling gray XLT and I would love to buy your lariat flares. Sending you a PM

I like most of it, grille is not my style. I'm hoping to paint mine matte black or custom skull camo my grille. I'm thinking about a lift to replace the level. I like what you've done so far, maybe some more aggressive rims and tires. Post pics when you've done the lights, that's something I'd like to see.

Truck looks good. And I'll definitely take the bed access steps from you if you're anywhere near Edmonton where you bought the truck. Been looking for a while, but haven't found a set. PM me

This truck is personally not my style, although the color is. If budget is not a concern to this guy I would have done a lot of things different. But we all have different tastes.
So what if the OP is a millionaire? Who cares if he, or anyone else gets rid of their 2011 for a 2012? He didn't spend your money to do it, so why does it seem to bother you so much?

OP, looking forward to seeing pictures with the lift kit on. I do think the truck could use some different wheels to compliment the lift, when installed.

Here's a quick history of the LOBO for whoever was asking. I know all F150's made in Mexico are now called LOBOS, but they are no longer called LOBO in the U.S. Apparently it didn't catch on too well here, but i didn't think they were ever created for the Canadian market as it was purely a Hispanic targeted campaign.

["FORD & PABLO MONTERO INTRODUCE NEW F-150 LOBO EDITION TO LATINO CUSTOMERS 2005 Ford F-150 Lobo edition is designed to appeal to the Latino customer and is the first time Ford has developed a vehicle offering exclusively for the Latino market.

Latino celebrity Pablo Montero will appear alongside the new 2005 Ford F-150 Lobo edition in an exclusive advertising campaign.

2005 Ford F-150 Lobo edition is a new offering added to the F-Series lineup and will be built in limited production.

Since 1996, F-Series has been the best selling truck in the U.S. Hispanic marketplace.

DALLAS, TX April. 25, 2005 – Tough and capable. Untamed and spirited. Lobo – a name that’s rich with tradition – is joining the famed F-Series lineup as a limited edition offering for Ford’s truck customers in the Southwest. The new 2005 Ford F-150 Lobo edition will premier in an exclusive advertising campaign alongside Latino celebrity Pablo Montero.

Developed specifically for the Latino market, this special edition Ford F-150 Lobo makes its debut in the heart of truck country – Texas. True to its heritage, this vehicle will be a part of a one-month Latino focused advertising campaign leading up to one of the most celebrated traditional Mexican holidays -- Cinco de Mayo -- in an effort to reach out to the customers this truck was built for.

Pablo Montero, who has released five successful albums, is recognized as one of the most talented voices in traditional Mexican music. In 2004, he was nominated for a Latin Grammy award for his musical tribute to Mexican talent Javier Solis. Working with Montero helps Ford speak to its Latino audience with a solid message that combines the culture and beliefs of Latinos living in the Southwest.

"The F-150 is the number one truck sold in the Latino market, so it’s only fitting that Ford develop this truck exclusively for this segment," said Doug Scott, Ford k group marketing manager. "Renowned in Mexico for years, the Lobo name now is finding its way north of the border and will be sold only in the U.S. Southwest region where the mass of the customers live."]

I'm not crazy about the rims/tires but the rest of the truck looks great. Looking foward to seeing it lifted.

Yes RBP grill's are way over-priced, but I had an opportunity to pay less than wholesale for most of my add-ons, so it was same cost as buying an HD Grill from Tasca.

As for me being a d-bag, well if you can make comments like based on how someones truck looks, who's the real d-bag? I appreciate the constructive criticism, and the positive feedback. I even appreciate negative feedback as its a perspective that I as a left-brainer probably wouldn't have considered - so thanks for that too! Negative feedback with comments in bad taste... keep them d-bag comments between you and your cousin/wife in bed tonite!

Raptor boards.... where do I get myself some Raptor boards? I have the brand new takeoff factory stainless steps, bed access steps, Lariat wheels/tires to sell yet, and those could help pay for the steps and lift - kit.

Thanks to all. Any suggestions for wheels? I have a buddy would buy the Raptor wheels off me if I decide to sell them. I bought them cheap enough, won't lose a cent trying them first to see if I can ge a look I like. Something between an FX4, HD, and Raptor - hopefully the strengths from each.
Tasca has the running boards and you can order them there but try are pricey. You could look for some take offs somewhere though. As for rims -12mm offset would be good with flares, fuel and kmc XD series make some nice rims but there are lots f other great ones out there. Good luck!

Man, I usually like reading your posts... but on this one maybe you should have think before ;-)

I personally took a big 2500$ hit when I traded in my 2011 for my 2012. Like for the OP... I can afford it and we are not spending your money... in fact we are actually helping your economy, you should thank us for that. If I wouldn't be buying a new truck every year I would be buying new TVs and crap like that and send my money to China... what do you prefer?

In my case it was a bit different since I went from a long WB XLT to a 145WB FX4 for various reasons.

Cheers
