Can use a raptor grill on FX4/FX2
I am planning on ordering a new FX2 in the next few weeks and was wondering if the raptor grill can be installed on the FX4/FX2. And if so how difficult is the change out, and approximately how much would one cost. I am a new comer to the forum and was hoping to not have to scan through the 500 plus pages of topics. Thanks for any help here.

fordjamie - And front fenders it's wider
While it is true that the fenders are wider, this has no bearing on installing the grille. Only the hood ( and other attachments to it ... i.e. vent panels ) are needed to have a Raptor grille on a normal F-150.

fordjamie - When I went to look in to doing this. I was told the front grill was wider.
Have measured the Raptor grilles (a year ago as a fabrication, feasibility concept ) ...
- upper - 49½" x 12½" *
- lower - 22¼" x 4½" *
*Approximate +- measurements taken with a tape measure.

the raptor hood is the exact same width as the reg f150 hood, but the raptor hood follows a different contour along the edges and will leave a gap between the fenders and hood. someone on here already put the raptor hood on a reg f150. now for the grill, it is the same width as the fx4 grill and bolts to the exact same support brackets that are attached to the hood. but where the problem comes in is the raptor grill does not have an upper piece that attached to the outside of the hood.
