Can sync still be used with aftermarket deck?

Hello all,

I've been looking at adding a new kenwood deck to my 2012 FX4 but it has SYNC. Would there be any issues with sync if I had a new deck installed?

Or just ditch it. The only unique feature you loose is the vehicle health report (depending on which receiver you pick).
