Can Our Truck Beds Be "Skinned" To Be Repaired When Damaged?

The damage is definitely an impact from the side. It looks like something was dropped on it because where it was pushed in right in the middle, the plastic bed cap stayed attached to the bedside. However, the front and back of the caps popped up immediately when that happened. So it looks a little deceiving in how it was damaged. I dropped it off today at the body shop (thank you Nationwide for the VERY fast response) and they agreed. It just buckled strangely where it was hit.
Just my opinion, but I am guessing it was a lifted or at least a 3/4 ton truck. I've got 2" blocks in back on mine so it is higher than standard 4WD height. Something with a brush guard that is either painted black or has the bedliner coating like Ranch Hand or something like that. Some odd transfer colors and marks now that I saw it under good lights.
