You should be able to get one fairly cheap on ebay. Here is one at 120: http://www.ebay.com/itm/09-10-11-12-FORD-F150-PASSENGER-RIGHT-SIDE-POWER-MIRROR-LIGHT-DAMAGE-/271396090873?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2011%7CModel%3AF-150&hash=item3f3077b3f9&vxp=mtr
It takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish to replace.

And then there is both. I'm lucky that I rent a room, and that my landlords are my parents.

At one time my Mom found a source where I could get a replacement mirror for $200 installed. When her truck was totaled from an accident I wanted to take her mirror and other salvageable parts. Her insurance didn't like the idea. All I wanted was the mirror, and a few undamaged parts.

My truck has the heated mirror(s), but I don't think the passenger mirror is heated. Is it? While I'm replacing or repairing it I'll probably do that turn signal modification. Down the line I'll probably do that mirror cover bit I mentioned.

I hear that. I'm thinking maybe in the future of going to my local Ford wrecking yard and picking up some tow mirrors for "cheaper".

Where can one buy just a mirror cover? I'd be happy to transfer the guts of my $700 mirror into a new case if it can be done. Ford dealer wouldn't even entertain the idea.
