What about a 2010 lariat cluster in 2009? I jumped the gun looks like on my fleabay purchase and that's what I got it plugs up lites up but does not allow truck to start looks like security and something to do with pats and the keys any input would be great not sure what to do now!! Lol

As you can see the top is 2010. Bottom 2009 look real close their are diffrences ,bottom has pezzo buzzer black circle top has what looks like a speaker (black circle) looks like 2010 had a re do on circit board as well any input at this point would of help!! The chimes are diffrent when they are pluged in....

Lol the more I read the more I think i m going to have to try and trade this puppie for the real 2009 or at least hope for a price break in the purchase of the new one...maybe trade if out damn !!!

I cannot speak for 09-10 but I found an fx2 cluster from a '13 on eBay, swapped the clear cover from my stx and it worked just fine. I got lucky and found a cluster from a similarly optioned truck except mine is missing the back up sensors so when I put it in reverse it just ask me if I want to disable the backup sensors. Otherwise everything works great! I will get pics tomorrow, but the black trim rather then the chrome it came with looks killer!!

Is the "built as" data stored on the cluster ??? And can a speedo repair place load it from my original and dump it to the new one this is the only thing I know to try before I give up the idea of this working I like the chime on the new one better lol!!!

The wiring harness is different. You have a completely different computer system from 2010 down, different motors, etc. Ford techs have said in other messages it will not work.

i emailed that guy through ebay and he got back to me tonight. I was hoping i could drive the cluster to him, since he was in Brooklyn, NY and i am in nj near nyc. But he wants it shipped. I nearly laughed at where I had to ship it, seems so beyond shady.

Instrument cluster store sent me another cluster. I will hook it up tomorrow to see how compatible it is.
