Yeah,

but (1) I've read elsewhere that Paulson is probably right, an aftermarket programmer for the Economist (aka EcoBoost) that can do this doesn't exist yet.

but (2) apparently the Dealer can also lie to the computer about your differential, as well as tire size. And it turns out that my 3.73 differential with 33.5" wheels is almost the same as a 3.55 differential with the stock 32" wheels. So problem solved.

but (3), after all that, I'm not really sure I want to level the truck up enough to get a set of 33.5" tires under it. We'll see...

I have a hypertech programmer and you can pick tire sizes in 1" increments, so you could do 33 or 34 but not 33.5. I'm not sure what other programmers are capable of, but hypertech will get you to the closest whole #

I don't believe any are available to the public yet. Still in development stage by several companies.

The Hypertech programmers correct tire sizes in 1/4" increments.
Thanks , Gary @ Hypertech
