Camer shell
Thanks to those who helped me make the decision on the bedrug. I have ordered it and it should be at my door by Friday.
I got offered an amazing deal on an ARE camper shell. Don't know the model right off hand but it has the sliding windows and privacy glass. Also has the lights that require hookup somehow.
Anyway, I'm unsure if I should do this so I'm looking for pros and cons except for the usual can't carry tall things.
I'm a scout leader and hauling camping gear and traveling is my lifestyle but I do go to Home Depot for my house duties.
Thanks in advance for your help!

They are relatively easy to take off if needed. I could see you using it way more everyday. Plus as a scout leader you'll be able to camp in the back with the bedbug if needed!

I love my ARE cab high shell. It fits and looks good doesn't leak or rattle is color matched and it actualy improved my highway MPG. AS for the Home Depot I just grab the trailer or the daughters Tundra.

My brake lite was wired by the dealer [ran a wire up and tied it in near the master cylinder] as for the interior lights mine are all battery powered LED's but I would think any Rv dealer could set you up

Any DIY help out there for maybe tiring into the trailer lights? Doesn't the 7 pin have a wire for some lights for the trailer that I could use? Same question for third break light on the cap?
