calling all graphic designers...let's make some home screen wallpapers for sync
#621
So glad I found this thread
I haven't done any graphical stuff for a while, but it was really fun putting together a new wallpaper for my truck. I especially benefited from someone suggesting using paint.net - I actually have Photoshop on one of my other computers, but paint.net does exactly what I need it to do, and it's easier to figure out. Also, the template that was posted was a HUGE help, because I don't really like the backgrounds that have pictures that cover up the whole screen because they get overwritten by the data. I prefer the backgrounds that take up black space in the background, but don't get covered up by any information, and that's really hard to do without a good template, so that was much appreciated.
Here's the background I settled on after some work. The one I have in my truck now has a few other layers added (a DMB fire-dancer on the right side for my wife, and two fake "mute buttons" for each of my kids so I can mute them if they are talking in the truck) but those are more personalized. But anyone who plays Xbox 360 should know & love the Chief. :-)
I'm not sure exactly how to insert images, but hopefully this will work:
