Caliper Slide Pin Lube
I'm servicing my rear brakes and was wondering if anybody had opinions on the best lubricant to use on the slide pins. Is the ceramic lubricant superior to the traditional high temp silicone? Anybody know what the torque spec is on the bolts in the slide pins? Thanks.

Anything is better than nothing. I have used the silicone ceramic lube from NAPA, about $5 for a tube for years and never had anything seize. Even with some off-road use. Winter would present more of a test for yours than I get down south.

When did they stop using the dampener on the rear calipers?
I recently serviced my entire brake system diy and my 2013 does not have the dampeners, just the standard caliper pin bolts.
No noise concerns, I’m only curious.
