Default California Legal Tuners (LOL, I know)

Anybody behind lines like me and running a tuner? Really want to pickup a Tuner but deciding what is the best. It's really in between an Edge CTS, Superchips Flashpaq, or a BullyDog.
I like the BullyDog as it is more than a Tuner, tire size recalibrator and other stuff.
Interested in hearing what people have.
Thanks

Don't get any of those, they're all at the top of the list for failure rates.

SCT Livewire is what I had and I loved it.

I can't, they aren't legal for use here.

I just looked up on SCTs website. They do make one that is California Legal but I'm not sure if it's cali legal. It doesn't specifically say so. I emailed them and hopefully will hear from them soon.

Why do you care if they are legal? If you need your vehicle Tested set it back to stock. The super chips is just ok. I used one for 30k miles. Sct is better. Custom tunes on sct fantastic.

I have an SCT with 5 star custom tunes and I need to get emissions every two years here. As others have said, just go back to stock when getting tested. It's a pain for the day I have to do it but worth it the other 364!

You got me thinking. A guy at my gym has a 6.4 and is running the egr and dpf delete with H&S Tuner. It's def not California legal. Probably just puts all that back on before smogging it. I might just do that.

It's worth it to get custom tunes vs canned. Yes you pay a but more but they are so much better.

I emailed Mike all my stats and he sent three tunes so tire size, ect were already set, I just had to upload tune.

FYI, the Hypertech is C.A.R.B. approved. And, you don't have to uninstall it to get your truck smogged. Very happy with mine.
