A/C not working at idle?
Just curious as to whether or not anyone else has had this happen to their truck? 2011 F-150 Eco. I have been hearing a weird "grinding" noise off and on for about 3 weeks now. Called the dealer to set up an appointment a week out but during that time it did not make the noise when starting cold in the AM. I called the dealer and in normal fashion they told me to wait and see if it did it again rather than brining it in. I of course was fine with that over taking my truck in to have it magically be "unable to replicate" as is usual for any work done at a dealership it seems.
Yesterday while heading home from work I noticed that the A/C stops completely when on low 1-2 speeds at idle, or when coming to a stop. On 3-4 it still blows you out of the truck and seems to cool fine? When driving the truck seems to cool fairly well in the low speed modes.
Any idea as to what may be going on? Anyone had this issue and discussed it elsewhere? Thanks.
