Default Bye Bye Chrome

I finally got rid of the chrome on my F150 today. I dipped my grill, front and read bumpers, emblems, reflectors, and door handles. Here are some pics:

I will never understand the point of plastidipping over chrome but to each their own

Yeah to each their own indeed. My Plat has chrome, but IMO it's tasteful and not overdone. The "murdered out" look starts to wear on you after while, and not in a good way.

Exactly. It's not like Ford goes overboard on chrome, it's just about perfect. Blacking everything out is more of a fad as opposed to chrome being classic. Like I said, to each their own

No offense but it looked better with the chrome. If people wanna cheaply plastidip their vehicles, by all means, go for it. But to me a truck should have chrome on it. Otherwise I would have bought a car.

Chrome is for Harleys and even then, only in moderation. I would definitely paint to match instead of dip everything but looks good for the price.
