yeah, this is nice to know. looks like he/she had no problems since June 2013 as that is when the work stopped. I have to assume prior owner was good with oil changes etc, no record of those being done on that or the fax in the car LOL.

The laws in Quebec are NOT lax. if anything, they are much stronger than in many US states. I would have zero concerns about fraud. Quebec takes driving safety and vehicles seriously; it is the only jurisdiction in North America mandating winter tire use.
Regarding corrosion, this truck should be the same as any truck purchased from upstate NY, Vermont or NH, where there is similar snow and the same amount of salt. It won't be an Arizona truck, but no worse than upstate NY, VT, NH.

wow I think I'm insulted, lol
I wouldn't worry, it snows so much during our long winter that we barely leave the igloo, and when we do we have to use the dog sleigh cause our "roads" are so bad, I personally just leave it parked all winter with the windows wide open. why do you need a fax machine in your car?

Because the Canadian dollar is so low right now you will see a ton of Canadian trucks bought here and shipped to the states now. So that, is normal now whereas before I'd wonder.
I'm from Montreal and other than teeth rattling roads (And I love Montreal but it's a shock when you pull into town..), salt is salt and it's spread too much everywhere, even here in Ontario. At least they use road salt. In the warmer parts around here, the anti-icing brine is the deadly stuff. +2 on the oil under spray.

Very true. The guys down south are going to see a lot of our trucks. I'm trading in my 09 for a 13 on Friday and there is not much out there. Dealer said they are sending everything south. I got very lucky and found what I wanted so I jumped on it. I would not be concerned about a truck from Quebec.
