Buying Tires SUCKS!!!

I JUST bought (like 30 min ago) a set of 275/60/20 BFG Rugged Terrains, normal ply, not E rated. I've only driven 20 miles, but these are 33" tall and ride very quiet and very well compared to the Scorpions were on. I wanted quiet, but a more aggressive AT (I have some land I hunt on and need better than OEM tires). I can try em for 30 days and if they don't work for me, I can swap em for something else (discount tire).
I can't feel any difference in acceleration with this set (even with the OEM set in the back). I can tell the braking and cornering is better over the OEM. Its not an E rated tire, but I didn't want one for this truck.

0.9% is for suckers!
alright. This is the best I can do for now, I took some pics, then lightened em up for better idea of the tread, wheelwell area, etc. BFG Rugged Terrain 275/60/20. Very positive feel over the OEM Scorpions for sure. more sure footed, more stable. Not as jumpy as before. It definitely paid off to stop at Discount Tire this am on the way home

Thank's for the pics HoustonRider, another blackwall out person too! I was quoted $1057 OTD at a local tire shop, is this price in the neighborhood of what you paid. 8% tax over here that's included. They look great on your truck!

Thanks man. This looks like the route I'm going to go. Noticed the toyos at 2's are p rated as well and the 33's are lighter than the stock pirellis?! I've narrowed my options thanks to y'all. That's a good thing.

That's pretty close. No disposal fee, I bought replacement warranties, lifetime balancing and no tax was less than $1k.

I'm running 305/55/20 duratracs. Loss of power noticeable on my 09 xlt. Have edge tuner, CAI, throttle body spacer and magnaflo cat back. Upgraded slotted brakes. The brakes make a HUGE diff and the tuner does make a diff. Options for sure, to fix the negatives of having a GREAT look. Don't think the other mods make a HUGE diff.
The throttle body spacer gave me 40 extra HP... Lol just kidding... Just threw it in for incase it actually helps...

I have the Rugged Terrains on my Tundra and really like them. They handle great in the dirt and rain, they are quiet and handle well on the highway and they can handle a load reasonably well (towing a travel trailer). They do ride a bit rougher than the highway tires they replaced, but not as rough as most AT tires. They are P-rated tires, so they won't handle the sharp rocks, etc... when off roading as well as the AT KOs, but they are perfect for most peoples needs. Living in Texas, I have not had a chance to try them in the snow, so I can't comment on that. They do have a pretty good look, I get more comments than I would expect, considering I am riding on stock stealies on a stock SR5 4x2 Tundra.
