Buying Tires SUCKS!!!
I just wish bfg at ko's came in a c load or d load. I just want a 34" at tire that don't weight 50+ lbs a piece. I really can't find a 275/65 20 that will fit my wants and needs and its frustrating the heck out of me. Any ideas? You guys running BFG AT KO's... Lose a lot of throttle power? MPG? Brake wear?what to do?

0.9% is for suckers!
I dont even think the OEM 20s are that light. Tire/wheel combo per corner on 20's is close to 100lbs anyway, a few pounds wont hurt. I do know that the BFGs are lighter than most others.
I haven't looked too close, but look at the Toyo Open Country AT2. They have 2 tread patterns, the LT sizes are more agressive than the P sizes, but I'm still looking.

275/65R20 weighs 57 lbs
They also make a P275/60R20 that weighs 43 lbs
I know how you feel. I feel like 10 plies are a waste of money on a 1/2 ton.
I think 6 or 8s would be fine.

305/55/20's on my silverado made a big difference in ride, mpg's, and throttle and braking. The tires are 10 ply and very heavy. I want to level and put 33's-34's on the fx4, but like the better fuel economy. If you find something that works out pm me and let me know!

It does suck that they don't make them in anything but an E load. I have them in 275/70/18 and really took a hit on mpg. If someone says that the weight of a tire doesn't affect performance or mpg, they've obviously never ran these lol. However, they are a really good tire, so I can't complain too much! Maybe by the time I need new tires, there will be a better, lighter, and affordable tire on the market.

I had nitto terra graps on my 05 lariat. 22" rims with 35" tires. I don't want a 10 ply e rated tire on my 1/2 ton. I may look into the at2s. It's just frustrating. In my 05 the performance went to hell with those wheel tire combo and I had 3:55's. my 11 and 12 had/have the 5.0 with 3:73.s and I love it. Don't want to sacrifice TOO MUCH, but willing to compromise. Just can't find the right combo. Dammit.

I ran nothing but BFG KOs on my Chevy Z71 I owned for 13 years. Got 60-70K miles per set, never got a flat (lots of off-roading in Colorado with sharp shale, etc.), never got stuck (lots of mud at the deer lease), never had a problem in snow (Colorado & Utah winters).
They are simply the best A/T made IMO. I can't wait to get some for my new F150. 10 Ply comes in mighty handy when you're running over mesquite bushes in Texas.

I've got this size on my '11 EB. Didn't really see too much of a difference in MPG once I correct for the larger tire. Still get ~14.5-15 MPG in town and ~20 on the highway. I have always run AT KO's but since I got rid of my Rhino and then got into another deer lease I wish I had gotten something more aggressive.
