Should I buy direct from 5 star or from Stage 3? Do either give discounts for members? Also what times are recommended? 2013 RCSB 5.0

I went straight through 5 star, I like the fact it cuts out the middle man. With that said though Stage 3 is great.
I'd just call them and ask if they have any discounts for forum members right now.
What tunes you wanna run are strictly up to you and the octane fuel you're able to get.
I got :
87 p/t tune
89 p/t tune
91 p/t tune
91 performance tune.

I tend to use the 91 performance tune most with my 89 p/t tune being a second

either way I am getting the livewire tuner over the x4. I'm new to tuning, I'm going with 5 star as I've read their day to day drivability is a little better. But I could be swayed either way.

Yup 5 Star are awesome daily driving tunes and safe, not the fastest but for me that's not what I'm looking for, down the line if you wanted something a little more you could always try a different tuner

I bought from 5* direct....just to cut out the middle man..but I heard both have good customer service.. I'm sure you'll be happy no matter what direction you go

I just purchased through stage 3. I bought the Livewire TS with 4 Tunes from 5star. 87 economy, 93 performance/tow, 87 performance tow and 93 race! 1st mod to the truck (minus my 5.0 coyote badge in place of flex fuel badge lol) $609 out the door plus free shipping was hard to beat with 4 tunes.

I'll probably start w/87 performance/tow, then run through a full tank of 93 then try 93 race and 93 performance/tow.
