I am pissed that ford is to cheap to paint the fender flares to match the body color on fx4 luxury package. So first thing I took off the fender flares and getting them painted, then i order the HD lights and tail lights, bought new rims, now need a new grilled, I want the hd grille in black, then I will enjoy the truck.

Need someone out there to start producing HD grille in black
Ok, but the Tundra also had things you wouldn't have liked, you said as much yourself... would you now be on the Tundra forum bitching you wish you'd gone for an F150 because the short bed is too small and the paint seems cheap without clearcoat?????

Jvivek- I can honestly say that I seriously considered purchasing a Tundra before purchasing my old truck (2005 Lariat)... The 5.7L makes it great in the power department but I do research a little differently than most people. I searched for the newest body style within 200 miles of me with the MOST mileage I could find. I drove it on the highway and over the roughest roads I could find in that area. The Tundra after 80k miles felt like hot garbage. The door panels are cheap and start creaking, the dash is straight from the Corolla, and when you close the door- that reassuring heavy hearted closing sound is non-existant anymore, but subsituted by a tinny, loose sound.

This is my approach to all my used car purchases. Drive some of all considered vehicles in the body style you want with the MOST mileage you can find them in. The Tundra felt better than the Titan did, but it could not compare to the F150 and Silverado's.

Side note- if you don't like the raw trim on the "Sporty" version of the F150 as you decided to get with the FX4, what made you go with the FX package instead of a Lariat or a Platinum?

The Tundra, and all other Toyota's, are clear coated. IN fact, you'd be hard pressed to find any vehicle that isn't these days.

The F150 has a pretty loyal following, perhaps list it for sale, Low Miles!, and cut your losses. Chances are, there is probably an equivalent of you remorsing their Tundra purchase and perhaps wants an new F150!

Good luck in your endeavors.

escapes do have hard seats.. ill give em that. and the independant rear suspension.. riding in the back feels like riding in a jeep, you would think it would be smooth.. hmm. and the new tundras do look better than the new F150s.. ill give em that... not to mention theyre strong. but with toyotas track record recently? ill pass.

believe it or not the white tundra doesn't have any clearcoat on it, rest of the colors do, there is a petition online.

What sad here is, I was feeling down, here comes some member here calling you troll, blah blah blah

moving on.

I know why I bought the truck, there are lot I like about the truck, I just don't like the way it looks and drives. simple.

I bought all accessories to make it look better, now I need a supercharger or turbo to make it go.

I also looking to replace the steering, I have the max tow package, I suspect that ratio of the steering is different from the one without it.

What in the hell is wrong with people, you bought this truck, if you are unhappy about it go buy the truck that you want... If you are dumb enough to go on a forum and complain about the truck that YOU bought, then you are in full retard mode and no one can help you...

So basically what you are saying is that the truck is no good and you plan to change almost everything about it... Good luck on that one... BTW, you started this thread, you put it out there that you wish you had bought the Tundra, no one came and asked you what you thought... Your actions so far show a lack of maturity, thought and common sense... This = Full Retard Mode....
