Default Buyer Remorse! Should have bought what the heart wanted, instead bought the f150

I love the look and power of the Tundra, I just bought the f150 fx4 two weeks ago, so far I drove 200 km, now it just sits there in driveway, I should have bought the tundra, more power, sportier and better looking. everytime I look at my Ford I hate it.

ahh the pain of owning a new vehicle and not loving it.

Been there, done that. Wife bought a brand new Ford Escape (2008). I was expecting it to be like my F150 (2001, rides great for the age, no rattles creaks, etc.). Well, after the first 3 hr trip in the CUV my back hurt, at 10K it started rattling like SUV tend to do at the hatch back/lift gate.

Buyers remorse immediately, wife got rid of it and bought a Hyundai (at least it was made in Alabama). Sadly, the Hyundai felt like it was built better, and a year and half later, still feels like it was built better.

Better off hand the truck when you get a chance if you are unhappy, it will just aggrevate you when you drive it. I know, I would drive my old truck before I would ride in my wife's little SUV..... whatever it's considered. She would get extremely offended, but I hated that Ford product. It just felt cheap....

I wanted a 6.5 bed, not offered in Tundra, also heard that they don't put clearcoat on the white paint.

I am pissed that ford is to cheap to paint the fender flares to match the body color on fx4 luxury package. So first thing I took off the fender flares and getting them painted, then i order the HD lights and tail lights, bought new rims, now need a new grilled, I want the hd grille in black, then I will enjoy the truck.

Need someone out there to start producing HD grille in black

Do we have a troll here? Ya know, you're wining about things that should have been transparent before you bought. For the record, Ford is not too cheap to paint the wheel lip moldings on the FX4. The black wheel lip moldings are part of the package along with black grill and with them Ford is trying to achieve a certain look. You could of bought an XLT or Lariat if that drove you so crazy that you hate your truck. Me thinks you're just a troll.

Good to hear. Ours road like a brick on wheels or we would still have it. I work to hard for my money, I will never buy a garbage CUV again. Ride like a truck, handle like a lincoln, seats like a wooden bench.

the only complaint about the escape is the hard seats, everything else is great.
