On the back of your seat you can up-zip the cover and you will see a blower for your back, and there is also one for the bottom. These blowers are totaly independent of the AC system. The problem why you don't feel as much air to your back is because the blower is stuck between the cover and the seat making it hard to draw air, and the other issue is the vent of the blower is diverted down and can't escape. So the air get's recycled. I have thought about getting some flexable tubing and try a fix, but winter came along, I guess it's getting to that time of year to try again.

air comes out the bottom...however some makes it way up the back.....I like the ball chillers in summer time in MD.
