Default 3rd gear seems to die when accelerating hard
My 5.0 seems to really suffer when I hit 3rd. accelerating hard. Seems as though it wants to stay at 3000 RPM's for a few seconds before it climbs up the RPM range. Normal?

Mine too. I was told it was the torque converter locking but they didn't say it was normal.
