Assuming he is talking about a plasma cutter and angle grinder. I like the bullnose bumper and plan to get it with my bonus along with other goodies next year.

Road Armor and Trail Ready both claim on their websites to have EcoBoost compatible bumpers.

The Trail Ready has a large rectangular hole in the top center to give access to winch controls -- should you ever add a winch.

One of the issues with getting a bumper for the EcoBoost that can mount a winch is that the Intercooler takes up some of the space that the winch occupies in non-EcoBoost trucks. So maybe the EcoBoost compatible bumpers stick out more to provide room for a winch...?

I have a ranch hand on my truck and love it. 10 deer hits and counting. No damage at all. I like the diamond plate. Matches my tool box. But that's just me lol. I work my trucks hard so I kinda like the mix of work truck and style. Buck stop makes some pretty badass bumpers too. Check them out.

Reminds me of my brother, he has a Thunderstruck bumper on his 2005 Ford 3/4 ton that is his everyday driver on the farm. After a few deer hits and plenty of cow "bumps", that bumper doesn't even look like anything has touched it.

I've been thinking about this exact same setup. I really like the bull nose.

BTW, there is a company in Houston that sells these on ebay for a fairly good price, and they will buy your old bumper back.
