Default Bumper Grilles - Filling the gaping maw ....

So, being in GA, I pulled the license plate holder off the front bumper leaving a big dark space. Looks like there are lots of aftermarket products to cover that gap with a grille. Since my new-to-me XLT has the chromed two-bar main hood grille backed by rectangular mesh, I lean toward a dark billet/stainless horizontal bar to fill that gap between the black bumper pads and provide a little protection for the radiator and tranny cooler behind. I'm leaning toward the T-Rex or possibly a Putco metal, over the plastics, but am open to suggestion. Any thoughts? Any experience mounting the T-Rex? I don't want to drill anything I don't have to.

It’s not a grill, but I installed an LED light bar there to fill the gap. It really helped with the stock lighting.
