Default Bully Dog BDX tire size

I have just received my Bully Dog BDX. I have tried to find where/how you change the Tire size on this tuner.

I didn't see it in the tune file parameters or vehicle functions. Although I am not sure what KAM reset means but I didn't want to go there.

Does anyone know where/how to change the tire size on a Bully Dog?

It's not KAM reset, that's something different.

Tire Size adjustment is usually listed under the user adjustable options. Go to tune the vehicle, and at some point it will ask "User adjustable options yes or no" and just pick yes, and then go into that menu and everything you can adjust in the tune yourself is there, including usually tire size.

Hey buddy I figured it out because I needed to do the same thing.

The key is you have to modify the customs tune. Once you begin to update your tune click the option that says CHANGE in the CUSTOMAZATION screen then scroll down to TIRE REVS/MILE and change it there. Hope this helps.

If not not let me know and I can walk you they it!

About to pull the trigger on the bully dog bdx tuner very soon. Wish I woulda purchased it this past weekend when there was a sale on them...I was curious what you guys think of it so far after the install. Are you guys running the tune completely stock or do you have any mods? Also, does the bully dog bdx come with a tune already programmed for our f-150s or do you have to purchase the tune in addition to the bdx?

It comes with a tune.

I did get custom tunes. My truck is stock except for the 295/60r20 tires that are getting mounted tomorrow. I mainly got the bdx to adjust the shift points etc due to the larger dimension tires. I will install the custom tunes for the first time tomorrow night.

I installed the tune that came with it for a few days. The power increase was noticeable and the throttle response was improved but my truck is stock air and exhaust so I didn't expect much anyway. If I didn't need it for the tire size I wouldn't have got it but the custom tunes may change my mind on that.

Just to update this, I just spoke with Eli at BullyDog's Tech Support and he told me the BDX does not support tire size adjustment on the 15+ vehicles. I find this hard to believe as I would think I would have seen this somewhere when researching the device but I guess coming from Tech Support that is the case. A little pissed right now as I do run larger tires and would like to be able to adjust for it.

What year do you have? I called BDX today and they said it can't be done. They even said the tuner can't do it. I find that hard to believe! I am hoping I can do it your way and it works. My speedo is off about 3 MPH.
