To the OP,
Thanks for taking the time to post these Pic's & make me look further into the design of our F150's chassis.
More importantly, I am glad you walked away safely from this situation.

Or was he waiting until 12th gen Fords to be released to start making mankind smart enough to create these super safe trucks?

God sure made Hitler intelligent, huh?

Why did god wait until recently to make us smart enough to make safe vehicles? Did he simply not care about the previous generations that didn't have air bags or seat belts? Lol. It's called SCIENCE. A real, tangible thing.

GET REAL! I try to keep my mouth shut, but when people post idiotic comments like this, it's hard to not get involved....

Wonder how much longer until this thread is locked
Beats me, but here's the thing.

OP posted, M0RRIS said "Thank God" and then the OP said "If they want to say that, let them."

That SHOULD be the end of the discussion, because the OP doesn't have an issue with it. If the OP *DID* have an issue, I could see the discontent, but as it stands, the butthurt seems to be just that. *shrug*

Can you guys take this whole God argument to a religious forum?

Googled a nice site for you Kbrock, go take your argument here: https://www.christianforums.com/

To the OP, obviously everyone is glad you are alright and were able to share your story and (more importantly) some great pictures. Being on a TRUCK forum, it's great to see the positive aftermath (for the F150) of a terrible crash. Can't think what is worse than a head on freeway speed collision. I'm sure the F150 forum community can all be pleased with the result of the crash and have a little more piece of mind driving our families around.

Agree with what others said in this thread, I think crash ratings are severely overlooked sometimes when purchasing a vehicle.

The website was a joke.

The point was the only difference of beliefs here should be truck related. What I wouldn't give for a good EB vs 5.0 debate right about now.

I'll admit I haven't researched myself, but just curious if anyone knows how the 13th gen aluminum body trucks compare to the 12th gen as far as crash safety ratings are concerned? (and yes, I realize they both have a steel frame)

13th gen just as safe as 12th gen

Though I wouldn't want to be in a Ram.
