Thanks for sharing your devastating story! Makes me feel a little more safe knowing how well they engineered these trucks. I’m glad Ford buids then heavy while still allowing for the right amount of crash absorption!

No, god wasn’t with you that day, the Ford engineers who designed the truck were. It is absolutely disgusting giving credit to some fairy tale vs. actual real folks who devote a ton of effort to make sure you are safe. Glad you’re still here. Very sorry to hear about the others who didn’t make it.

WOW...thank you for sharing your story. I am so glad that you made it out alive. Sorry about the other guy though and I am sorry for his families loss. Great to know Ford is making tough trucks that can stand up to that kind of impact.

Glad to hear you came out of that accident. I saw similar accident near my parents house about 6 months before i got my screw. Main reason why i also wanted a F150.

Wow,
The way some folk are.. Who peed in your breakfast?
If you took some time to read you would understand that people who believe in a higher power IE. God would also think that those engineers did what they did because it was Gods plan. You may even find some of those engineers believe, and believe they do what they do to save lives.
But hey MRV glad you walked away, Hope and pray your aches and pains do not last too long and your only scars from this are slight physical ones. Prayers for the family and friends of the other vehicle.

Me and my parents were hit by a drunk driver head on back in '94 in a little chevy tracker.
Rolled 6 times and ended up on the roof, and we all walked away.
Luckily it had a roll bar or we would have been toast.
Very glad to hear you're ok, and appreciative of the confidence you've inspired in me for purchasing an F-150.
Extremely unfortunate that it took a life being lost to find out just how strong these trucks are.
