Build Thread: adding more 'appearance and premium' to my fx4
I have been researching alot of trucks and accessories lately. I got the bug to enhance my 2014 when i saw a couple of Tuscany's at my dealer. The trucks were base priced at 77k then upped to 103k for the tuscany upgrade. (cdn $)
I paid 50 ish for my fx4 appearance package last summer so i'm going to add some improvements to mine for 10k or less
Current:
Here's an approximation of what I want to achieve. This is the tuscany 'black ops' so mine will have some muscle to it but not all the markup.
The plan is to upgrade in phases and see how much i like the changes without going ALL IN and regretting it.
Phase 1:
2" Level
New Tires (unsure on size, but maybe 35's if they will clear with the 2" level
Black Bull Bar+fogs
Wheel well liners
Phase 2:
New wheels: 20x9 Ballistic jesters
new trailer mirrors
4" or 6" lift/shocks
fender flares
ram air hood
Phase 3:
AMP retractable running boards
some real carbon fiber interior inserts
and somewhere along the line a tune for the ecoboost.

HAHAHA! I live in the 'tropical' part of canada Rarely see snow here. In fact I drive my mustang all year round. Just a couple hours east or north though, and you're into snow and awesome skiing and sledding.

Thanks for the input. Don't you need a level kit to start with? sorry for my ignorance about trucks but this is the first time i've ever wanted to mod mine.
as for 35's, yeah i'm not sold completely on going that big. Most of my driving is street and alot of that is highway so, something narrower might be better. still thinking on it.

haven't decided on the hood yet. I do like the one on the tuscany, but also the bmc and the cervini. some come with ducts for the cai and some don't. still figuring that out. one thing for sure, i do NOT like the concave appearance of my stock hood (and those hideous decals).
