Default Bug Deflector wind noise over 60 mph.

I recently put a Weathertech Bug guard on the front and noticed that I am now getting wind noise when I drive over 60mph. Anyone have a quick fix other than taking the defelctor off or staying below 60?

From what I read from other members. Some get whistling and some dont. I drive a lot of highway so I'm just going to get a clearbra.

I just put one of these on my truck, yesterday. So far, I haven't heard any noise from it.

The one at Cabela's is a skin. The bug deflector sits about an inch off of the hood and deflects the bugs up and over the ft glass. I looked at those too, but they were more to protect the front edge from chips. I hate getting the bugs stains from nighttime driving.

I have the Ford OEM deflector, and it doesn't make a sound. I think it also looks the best as it covers up the large, chrome piece of grill on the top nicely.
Sorry, I know it doesn't fix your problem, but just wanted to let you know of an alternative if you can't get past the issue.

I hate getting wind noise even more than bug stains, so I opted for the skin type.

Good luck with yours.

That's weird. I don't have any wind noise from my Weathertech. I have read complaints about the factory bug shield and recommended they look at the Weathertech. This is the first complaint about the Weathertech.

i have the ford bug deflector that says f150 on the left corner and i also get whistling at or above 60 mph but i usually have my radio playing so the noise is negligible.

Score so far...

1 Weathertech = Wind noise

1 Ford Deflector = No noise

1 Weathertech = No noise

1 Ford Deflector = Wind noise

What's a person to do...
