Anyone installed the Viper Smart Start system on a 2010 F150 yet. I was in Best Buy today and their system does not show anything for 2010.

Yes I installed a Viper 5901 with the 2 way remote and works just fine. I had it installed at a local accessory shop and they did a great job.

The Viper model Im looking to install is the VSS4000 that works with the Iphone, guess I should have done better and put that in my original post, Sorry!

If you install it, please post how it works with the iPhone. I am thinking of installing one when I get my truck (waiting 14 weeks so far). I would be interested in how much lag there is between when you send the command on the iPhone and the truck actually responds.

Ive installed a Viper system and the Smart Start module on my 2010 fx4 and everything works seamlessly. I started another post about 3 weeks ago on this same topic.

I have an iphone app for that! I can open my garage door and make my truck appear with my iphone!

When I hit the garage open button, or a button to turn a light on, there is a 1-1.5 second delay. I would imagine it would be the same, seeing how it would use the same web based interface... i think?

Okay I'm getting the 5601 installed with the smart start module so I can control with the Iphone as well. Bad thing is they are booked for installs until the 23 of Feb. Uggggggggggggh!
