Default Bug deflector or not?

Hi !

It's my first time here, great forum!

I just bought my first truck last week. F-150 FX4, Ruby Red 402A package with navigation and moonroof. It was a demo and it came with a bug deflector which I don't think I really like. What are your thoughts on that deflector?

I've look at nice FX4 pictures and none of them had a bug deflector. I know it would protect the paint...but does it really worth it if I don't like the look? I would like to see your thoughts on this.

One last question... If I decide to remove it, is it easy to remove without leaving any marks? (the truck has 8000 km)

Thanks

is it worth it if you dont like the look? maybe..maybe not. do you like the look of chipped paint on your hood? but yeah the clear bra would be worth it if you dont like the look of a bug shield. i might take it off your hands if you dont want it

I have the clear bra on the lower bumper and factory bug shield also. I like it.

I vote NO bug shield. The front end looks so much cleaner without one. If stone chips bother you that much, then set aside the $100 you would spend on a bug shield, and in 10 years, put that $100 towards getting your hood and front bumper re-sprayed.

Behind the grille shields look much better. They don't cover up and hide the top of the grille. Little tricky on install but my smoked stampede looks great.

In my world, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Not worth it though if that ounce of prevention makes your truck fugly.
