I'd you look closely to the connector for the mirror, the wire locations are numbered 1-16. These are the pin locations I tapped into.

Type "2013 f150 mirror wiring diagram" into google then go to images. There are a couple of images with the pin outs. The wire colors diddent match my truck, but I used a test light and verified that the wires were correct. I'm on my phone right now or I would screen shot and post the connector view.

Thanks for the thread! Installed a slightly different LED than you from oznium.com. I got the Warm White, Stainless Steel (3W), 11 mm, No Lens, Silver. Can't see the silver much underneath the mirror, but wanted the 3W vs. the 1W.
