Default Brush Guards

I'm looking at getting a Grille/Brush Guard for my 2010 STX and I thought I might go with the Road Armor, but now I'm thinking that the Westin HDX might be a way to go. Can you post some pictures and give me some guidance as to which one is better? I like the look of the Road Armor but the Westin HDX is almost as aggressive looking.

I picked up a Westin HDX. Well made, sturdy and looks great.

That's pretty much how I want mine to look. Are those MotoMetal wheels? How big are those tires?

Just ordered a Westin HDX Grille Guard. Can't wait to get it and install it. How difficult was it to install or did you have it done?

Shouldn't be bad, connect in the bumper hole I believe. I'm gonna install a Ranch Hand on mine. I'm looking for more protection vs. looks, I considered the Westin HDX with Winch Mount, but was just unsure about the protection reviews. I'm installing mine Monday, heres a pic of the Ranch Hand:

I read the quality reviews too. Everything I found gave it 4 or 5 stars and from the ones that I read, it got pretty good protection reviews as well. Where did you find the ones that questioned it's quality in that regard?

Personal Experience and friends that own Westin Products... They're Great products, but every brush guard is only going to do so well in case of a collision. I work a cattle ranch, so I'm rough on my stuff. Had a Westin Ultimate Bull bar on my previous truck. Couldn't ever keep it clean, always dull, and very weak. Had a limb catch it while moving Cattle one day and it about ripped off the center bar, left a nice big dent in the chrome. Now for normal offroading and daily driving, it should hold up just fine. I just needed something i could use for work, not just looks. The Westin does look better than the Ranch Hand in my opinion as well. What did you pay for your if I might ask, I considered one of the winch versions coming out this summer, but I was told it was gonna run me the upper $700 dollar range.

Gotcha, I don't work a cattle ranch. I got mine for protection in collisions (with cars and deer) and for looks. I'll be doing a little offroading with it as well, but no real work like you do with yours
I got mine shipped for $540 from 4wheelonline.com
